Krav Maga S.W.A.T. Instructor Course 2018

THE KRAVolution S.W.A.T Instructor Course 2018 took place from December 27, 2017 to January 03, 2018 in the Quartier Forget of the 3rd REI (Régiment Étranger d’infanterie) of the French Foreign Legion in Kourou, about 60km northwest of the capital Cayenne in French Guiana.

After arriving at the regiment’s collective apartments on the evening of 26 December, the course began the next morning with a hard workout. Of course, the next 7 days in the truest sense of the word “to fight through” were not alone, because in this course you can not make it without reasonable teamwork. Restrain and control techniques from the law enforcement and capture techniques alone and in team were in the first few days on the program. Of course everything connected to krav maga techniques!

In the middle of the course we worked with cold weapons for selfdefense use, which were then intensified by the handling of weapons in the shooting on the range. Finally, tactical team training was back on the program and after the successful pass, of a physical, technical and tactical final test, almost all participants came through and are now allowed to call themselves KRAVolution Krav Maga S.W.A.T. Instructor and also to teach their comrades and units in Krav Maga law enforcement techniques for military police uses.

The participants not only received a KRAVolution certificate, the very raw and only for that course made KRAVolution Krav Maga S.W.A.T Instructor Patch (“Instructor”outlines illuminating in the dark) and a memorial t-shirt from this course, but of course and on request, a letter of recommendation with all the details of this course, for presentation to current and potential employers.

The KRAVolution S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons And Tactics) qualifies the graduates to instruct law enforcement and military units regularly as operational trainers. This course consists of techniques and tactics from Law Enforcement, Military and VIP / Close Protection sector. Operations can be planned, but in actual fact, special units are often surprised by new situations. This is exactly what this Instructor Course is based on: new situations / various dangers. Thereby teaching students to adapt to occurrences in the field. The scenario training (CQB-training) and the education of each Instructor are at the forefront of this course.

The techniques are taught professionally in order to put into practice with an understanding of them and all this while keeping the participants injury free. This is a MUST in Kravolution’s principles of teaching. We know how important it is to be fully operational at all times.

The course was taught in English and French, while all Krav Maga techniques are named in English.
